Angular Web Developer at ChickDev
Being a dev for 6 months now, I was given the opportunity to level up my coding game! This was the begin of my route to be a backend developer
With whom did I learn ?
As a junior dev, the best experience you can have, is been surrounded by experienced devs having good software development practices.
I had the chance to work with Angular 2+, work in a full agile development project and learn a new programming language.
What did I learn ?
I was immerged into agile routines, defining tasks in sprints and milestones using gitlab tools.
During these milestones I was introduced to typescript a superset of javascript which is used to develop angular apps.
I was also immerged in backend development for my first time. Using NodeJs as backend server and PostgreSQL as database server.
On what project did I work ?
I had the opportunity to work on the contact module of STEAM ERP. An enterprise resource planning application developped by the start up.
The module handles the enterprise contact portfolio, viewing, editing and handling contact list.
The different backend services where written in Nodejs with express targeting a the specific contact schema in the PostgreSQL database
